Trip to Krabi Island

4 days 3 nights trip to krabi~~~ woooohooo.....at last i can take a break.....feels like very long din't take long off.....everyday wake up, breakfast, go work, lunch, go home, dinner, sleep......keep on repeating the same routine.....though my trip only 4 days, back on wednesday.....but i still taking the whole week leave.....use this long leave to take a rest before continue with the war which is my work.....i woke up early in the morning, checking my luggage, passport and most important.....CASH!!!!! hahahhaha......bringing few thousands of.....THAI BHAT lar......i think is enough for me to spend there......should have extra according to the budget and itinerary i planned......we reached lcct around 12pm.....our flight, AK0804 1.15pm, gate 4.....checking in at the long queue.....our luggage so light.....4 luggages added together not reached 30kg......our total booked luggage is 60kg.....hahhahaha.....waiting patiently.....walking to the plane from one end to another end......getting more excited.....i am on the top of the world.....errr....nope....top of everyone.....yeah!!!! enjoying the good weather with blue blue sky......after one and half hour, we reached krabi international airport.....we take a van from airport to buri tara resort.....is a luxury van.....cost us 1200 bhat.....is a bit expensive.....it takes about 45 minutes to reach the resort.....we checked in and take some brochures for activity package.....we rest a while and discuss which package we wanna join......we chose a one day package for day 2 with water rafting, elephant trekking, elephant show, monkey show, trekking to waterfall, ATV.....another package for day 3 is island hoping to phi phi don, monkey island, bamboo island, chicken island and etc.....after register for the package, the receptionist recommended us to a restaurant opposite the resort.....

day 1
dinner at the seaside restaurant starts off our 1st day there.....windy day with wind blow from the sea.....with the smell of sea.....we ordered pineapple fried rice, seafood fried rice, green curry and of course the most important is tom yum kung......super spicy tom yum kung.....very syok.....hahhahaa.....after early dinner, we went to night market at krabi town.....taking the luxury van again.....hahahhaa.....sounds like we are having luxury trip......enjoy enjoy......most of the things at the night market are own-made / homemade / on the spot made :P lots of special things such as roses made by pandan leaves, picture drawn by small kids, table clock with special picture as background, some wire-handwork......i bought some special key chains made from seashells as souvenirs.....each of us get ourselves a cartoon portrait....though is not looks very alike, but is cute.....there are many foods that we never seen here.....saw a stall selling coconut ice-cream.....ice-cream not served in a cup, not on the ice-cream cone but in the coconut.........."shell"??? don know what to call that.....hahhaha......some other foods like small crunchy pancake, pork ball, "colourful rice" (should be nasi kerabu), grill meat / sausage/ fishball, fried bird egg (fried by a little girl who looks very pro)......after night market, we walk around at the town......seeing all kind of shops.......and a shopping complex.......not that bad actually.....quite many branded things sold in the complex......but none of us buy anything......estimated we will spend around 3 hours there......but we leave after 2 hours......back to resort......looking at the time.....still early......so we walk to the shoplots nearby resort......can't remember is it called ao nang street??? whatever street it is......hmmmm.....a lot of selling bikini shops.....selling bags.....clothes......we din buy anything as well.....quite disappointed actually......i thought can shop wildly there......too bad.....save money then :P

day 2
started our 2nd day activities at island safari camp....
water rafting, elephant trekking, trekking to waterfall, ATV, elephant show, monkey show.....we went to a waterfall nearby....play a while there....the water was so cold.....like ice water.....it was so exciting and challenging with water rafting.....the river is full of rocks; big and small, up and down.....paddling at right side for the whole session make my right hand so tired after that....hhaahhaha....but anyway, have fun.....the quite boring activities will be elephant trekking (sitting on the elephant....walk around the forest about half hour....is like a torture, not only to us but also the elephant....pity the elephant), elephant show (just like in circus, walking with 2 legs and etc) and monkey show (monkey cycling, playing with dumbbell, walking on a hanging string, plucking coconut).....maybe because not adventurous.....

day 3
we went island hoping on the 3rd day......it takes around half hour to reach the 1st island.....honestly i don know which island is which island.....we went too many islands and every island is almost the same....with the beach.....quite confusing and the tour guide don really introduce the island.....we stop by at an island for snorkeling....quite disappointed because of limited under water creatures......one island i can recognise the most is monkey island.....of course is full of monkeys....hhehehhee....guess what???!!! monkey likes to drink coke.....the boatman gave the drink to a monkey and it seems like enjoying it so much....finish the whole bottle....we having buffet lunch at phi phi don.....nice island but too many people around....very crowded....i guess is the island with most people.....after visiting all the islands, we ready to go back resort.....it was raining on the way back.....big wind and big waves.....the boat speed very fast.....so scary and dangerous....just like sitting on a roller coaster.....thanks god we are safe....hahahhaa....take bath and rest a while, then we go for dinner....we had spicy tom yum kung.....is very very spicy....we don even finish half of it......wasted.....after that we went for happy hour and watch world cup =)

day 4
get ready to go home....is the end of our holiday.....no time to go anywhere as our flight is in the afternoon.....after breakfast, go back to room and start packing.....luxury van is ready to fetch us to airport.....this trip is full of excitement, boring-ness, scary, dangerous......hahahhaa.....most important ~~~~ have fun!!!!!

Elaine's Birthday @ Boston, Sunway Mentari

on the 22nd june 26 years ago, comes the little princess of tam's family to the world....26 years later, little princess become "old princess"....hahahhahaa.....this "grown-up princess" been invited to a restaurant, boston to celebrate her 26th birthday with a bunch of friends.....quite "brand-new" friends.....hahahhaa....omgooosshhh....can't imagine i will come out with some many "double quoted" words......she say it was a surprise to her and is her 1st birthday celebration for her 26th.....so, is it consider quite meaningful one??? hope it was....we are quite secretive planning for it.....yessss!!! is planning especially for YOU!!!! :P guess what???!!! the birthday girl came late from the time we dated....and.................from the info i got, she is a "late-queen".....don know how true it is.....but at this moment, i consider it as true.....sorry for being so honest.....unless you can prove that i shouldn't think it that way.....so please correct me....of course with acceptable evidence.....suddenly sounds like in the court.....hahahhaha.....i ordered seafood baked cheese rice.....hmmmm.....not bad not bad......the others ordered chicken wing corn, vegetarian rice, szechuan seafood baked cheese rice and hor fun.....and the birthday day ordered a bread set.....everything looks and taste OK except for the iced almond tea......errrr....it tastes weird......after meal, as usual is cake session......happy birthday to 叔玲!!!! that is the writting on the cake.....this is the 1st time the name on the cake is in chinese.....just because the cake is not bought by me.....hahhahahaha.....thinking back, i am the one who responsible on cake if there is any birthday celebration....has become an usual practise....should be proud to take the responsible??? no answer.........................hehehehee......next session.....of course is photo session......stand left, stand right, stand center, sit left, sit right, sit center......after changing all positions and people for photos, is time to leave because they already bought ticket for movie.....but i din join......because i am "flying" to krabi the next day.....that's my awaited-long holiday......view next blog entry for my krabi trip ;)

Setia ECO Half Marathon 2010

once a year setia eco half marathon............though is the 2nd year for this event....still haven't figure out what is "half marathon".....from my understanding, common sense.....half marathon....hmmm...half lor....half of the full marathon distance....hahhahaha.....to understand more and totally confirm the meaning.....i wiki-ed it.....

Participation in half marathons has grown steadily recently. 21++km!!!!!! kidding meh.....so long distance....hahahhaha.....so conclusion is, the half marathon we participate is "kids half marathon".....only 4.5km.....this year, me, auntie and cousins participating together.....few of my friends joining too.....woke up at 5am....so early.....run, walk, run, walk......raining somemore.....enjoyed running under the run......hahahhaha.....don know how much time i use to end the 4.5km.....but at last i end it......never give up half way.....and it don make sense if i give up right??? is only 4.5km.....walk also can reach lar....hahahhaha.....after the marathon, sleep like nobody's business.....1stly is because woke up too early.....2ndly is because very tired leh.....this is the result of seldom exercising :P

3 rounds Outing from noon --> midnight

whole day outing.....from noon till midnight.....extremely tired.....1st round we went sing k at red box in noon.....only few of us, so sing till tired and a bit sore throat.....2nd round, we ate dinner at a taiwan restaurant.....1st attempt.....guess what???!!! the restaurant is full house.....guess there must be something special about the restaurant......so many people waiting outside.....and so do us.....there are limited tables that can fit us in......since no one suggesting to change place, so no choice, have to wait...wait.....wait.....after waited for more than 1 hour, at last we are seated.....luckily the foods there not really disappointed.....else i will !@#$%^&*.....joking joking....i seldom do that....no worry.....not disappointed doesn't mean is good.....hahahhaa......normal lar.....can eat.....maybe i not very choosy in food.....others don have much comment, so i assuming, is ok for everyone.....we ordered 3 varieties of supreme diced chicken...no idea why is 3 varieties....taste a bit like kung poh chicken.....the portion is quite big, so i shared it as usual :P after meal, here comes the birthday celebration.....happy birthday!!!! may...............everything come true.....when the cake is ready, we realise that the wording on the cake gone half.....become "happy birt....".....so funny.....and so sorry.....we have no idea what happen to the "day".....hope you don mind.....and maybe something the birthday man don know, the cake is free from red box.....is just a normal sponge cake with some cream.....taste so so lar.....free mah....don expect too much.....since is free, no candles also.....hahahhaha.....sounds like we treat him so bad right??? but nevermind, he "looks" happy also....at least we got heart to celebrate with him.....mliang, hjuin & elaine leave dinner session early because they went for movie.....forgot what movie they watched.....they bought ticket without asking us.....so bad.....hahahhahaha.....but is ok.....we continue chatting till the restaurant almost close......prove that we have plenty of saliva to waste.....hehehehehe.....couldn't think of any place to go after that.....they seems like don wan to go home yet....so we lepaking around.....walking here and there.....sitting.....standing.....
at last.....come to a conclusion.....last round.....yum cha session.....we went brussel cafe at jaya one......as usual, no alcohol for me.....so i ordered fruit juice =) each of them ordered beer for sure.....the movie gang join us too.....ended up we sit there till 1am.....thanks god i reach home safely because i am really tired....hahahhahahaa......

Semi Final Thomas Cup @ Stadium Putra

after 1 week thomas cup started, comes to the semi-final......which is malaysia vs china.....the match i waited for since the 1st day of the cup.....thought of watching live at home but surprisingly got free ticket....thanks sy & th =) 1st time watching thomas cup live at bukit jalil stadium.....excited!!!!! hahhahaha.....1st match....lee chong wei vs lin dan....though at last malaysia lose to china.....but still.....i enjoyed the whole night.....shouting loudly.....

Happy Birthday Teng & Jass @ Sushi Zanmai, Pyramid

sushi zanmai is one the my favourite japanese restaurant....the sushi there are consider delicious......for me =) i remember last year we did celebrate jass's birthday here too.....but only 4 of us.....this year, we come here.....again for jass birthday.....and also teng's birthday.....more people joining this time.....more than 10 people is already consider a "big" gang :P as usual, eating infinity pieces of sushi and chit-chatting non-stop from north to south, east to west.....after that, comes to cake session and photos session......happy birthday teng & jass!!!! may you both stay pretty year after year.......i guess jass must be wishing next year we won't celebrate her birthday AGAIN at sushi zanmai :P

Sunny Morning @ Bukit Cahaya, Shah Alam

one sunny saturday morning, me, cleng, byaw, lay, ee and li woke up early just for cycling at bukit cahaya.....we depart at 8am....reached there around 8.20am and is not open yet.....so we walk around outside waiting.....once open, we quickly enter because everyone are there for cycling purpose.....and bicycles there are limited.....and is 1st time 1st come basis.....we start selecting "better condition bicycles".....if i not mistaken is rm3 or rm5 (bicycle with basket??? i guess) for the 1st hour and rm1 for subsequent hour.....we cycle around left and right, up and down.....we stop by at animal park.....playing with the parrots.....the noisy parrots keep on repeating "hello, hello".....though is noisy, but still.....parrots are well-trained.....is an entertainment to small kids maybe.....many rabbits running around in a small compound but we don have chance to get close with them......"just for display purpose", nice to see but cannot touch....hahhahaa....after that, we continue cycling and looking around.....is like cycling in a jungle.....cycle and cycle.....we come to the four seasons house.....this house is build for us to feel the difference of four seasons which not exist in our country.....it will change season every 3 months.....here is the schedule of seasons for the year.....
December to February – Winter
March to May – Spring
June to August – Summer
September to November – Autumn

luckily is spring when we are there.....actually i am more interested in winter season.....hehehhee...i will go again next year.....at least experience the fake winter season before the real one in the future.....entrance fee is rm3 per visit.....quite disappointed because the place is small.....nothing much to see except some nice flowers.....cool surrounding......sweating while cycling and turn cold in the season house.....not a good idea.....should have visit season house before start cycling around......we spend around 30 minutes in there taking some photos.....don waste the entrance fee of course....hahahhaa.....after that, we continue cycling....till a big garden.....and there is a under construction playground.....beside the garden is a tower house.....we climb up the tower house......not bad seeing view up there......looking from the above can see the difference view of the garden.....try it if happen to be there =)
